James Ferrell

Welcome and thank you for visiting! I’m James Ferrell, a proud resident of the Owens Valley who deeply appreciates the unique opportunities the Bishop community offers. If you’re preparing to explore the stunning Eastern Sierras or simply need to review your insurance coverage, please reach out to our office by phone or text. We are eager to assist you and earn your business.

Fall is a great time to enjoy everything the Eastern Sierra has to offer. Whether you're exploring Yosemite, Sequoia, or Kings Canyon National Parks, fishing the back country, spending the evening in downtown Bishop, or heading out for a weekend ride on highway 395, October is all about making memories with family and friends.

My journey began right here, graduating from Bishop High School before receiving a full football scholarship to Idaho State University. I spent four years as the starting placekicker for the Bengals, and I’m proud to say I still hold numerous kicking records for the Big Sky Conference. I earned my Bachelor's in Business Administration from Idaho State University, and later, a Master's from Concordia University Irvine.

Outside of the office, life revolves around family and the outdoors. My wife and I recently celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary, and we have two wonderful daughters, aged 23 and 21. You’ll often find me archery hunting, Fly Fishing, or exploring the breathtaking High Sierra Back-country. I also enjoy delving into Clive Cussler novels and cherish our Saturday evening family barbecues.
